Myofascial release is a very effective treatment that targets the connective tissue (i.e. fascia) to help release chronic tension patterns and create long-term change. This type of treatment uses minimal oil/lotion and only moves as fast as the fascia allows it to. Many clients love the sensation and find it very sedative.
For massage appointments please undress to your comfort level (i.e. underwear on or off) and lay under the sheets as guided before the session begins. Regardless of if you want to keep your undergarments on or off, you will be draped accordingly so you are completely covered. The only area exposed is the one we are working on (i.e. legs, arms, back, etc.).
We can work on more sensitive areas like the glutes, adductors, and pecs but will always communicate and get consent before proceeding. If you do or do not want any of these areas worked on please fill in that area on your intake form.
This really depends on the type of session we did (i.e. deep tissue, fascial release, sports therapy), if you have any underlying conditions or inflammation, and your post-massage care routine (e.g. hydration levels). It is normal to be be a little tender after a massage for 1-2 days if you had any big releases.
However, our sessions focus on targeted releases and always work with any underlying conditions, disorders, your nervous system state, and specific goals to ensure we stay within your capacity.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the body's craniosacral system- comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surrounds and protects the brain and spinal cord. Using light touch and appropriately trained facilitation, practitioners support the body's natural rhythm and subtle movements to release restrictions and improve nervous system function.
Research states that CST helps influence our autonomic nervous system (ANS), reduce pain and tension, and enhance overall resilience by promoting parasympathetic dominance (rest + digest state). This treatment is great for conditions like PCS, migraines, stress-related disorders, and chronic pain.
